The city of Vain has always been protected by flares, people with the power to control fire and electricity, who always seem to dissapear when they fight against the shadows. Enter Mark Fischbach, Felix's or as he likes to call himself pewds' right hand. Mark graduated second in his class, with Felix graduating first. But what happens when a guy named Jack Mcloughlin, a simple human, wants to help the flares with their mission to stop the shadows?

(This is not an exact copy of what happened in escape the night there are some bonus chapters that I completely made up and Tera will replace Ro in most scenes because it would make sense but Ro is still a relevant character)
