Smiling, an extremely out of place smile, she reached out and touched my cheek without hesitation, giving me no time to stop her. "I don't care anymore." She shook her head stubbornly and kept her hand glued to my cheek swiping her thumb across it. I gave in and brought my hand to her hand. I held it there, marveling at the electricity of our skin's contact. I slowly took her hand from my face and brought it to my lips. I kissed it carefully, loving how it felt to kiss again. Even if it was was just an angel's hand.
