To the world, Steph Catley is an Arsenal and Australia footballer. But at home, away from the stadiums, the matches, and the pressure of professional football, she is something much more important. She is Mummy. Since the day Junie was born, Steph has raised her on her own while chasing her dreams on the football pitch. Balancing motherhood with the demands of being a professional footballer hasn't always been easy, but Steph has always made sure Junie knows she is loved. Behind the football is a mum who makes school runs, listens to every story about her day, helps with the little things, and cherishes the quiet moments they share together. Six-year-old Junie's world is filled with everything that makes her happy - school with Miss Summer, her favourite toys, her unicorn teddy, her pink comfort blanket, her unicorn scooter, and her best furry friend Calvin the golden doodle waiting for her at home. Growing up around football means Junie has another family too. The Arsenal and Australia players aren't just Mummy's teammates; they're her aunties. From training grounds to camps around the world, Junie has grown up surrounded by people who cheer for her, care about her, and love watching her grow. But no matter how many people know Steph's name, how many fans cheer for her, or how many matches she plays, Junie only sees the person who picks her up from school, holds her hand, and makes every day feel special. Because to Junie, Steph Catley isn't just a footballer. She's Mummy. A story about motherhood, family, football, and the little moments that mean everything. For the story i have kept all of the girls that left last season in it and Vivianne Miedema still plays for arsenal!

Y/N Y/L/N has been a big fan of the Matildas since she was 5. In fact, it's what got her into football in the first place. It caused her to move to Westfield Sports High School for her last 3 years of study, getting her all kinds of opportunities and even resulting in her getting scouted by the Sydney FC. She had a particular adoration (and maybe crush) for a young blonde Matilda, Ellie Carpenter and was majorly devastated that she joined Westfield Sports High School the year after Ellie graduated even thinking she missed her chance to meet and become friends with Ellie. However, 1 year after graduating, Y/N and her best friend Alycia get a call and find out they've been named to join the Matildas in the 2023 Cup of Nations... then maybe the 2023 FIFA home world cup roster the year after, meaning their dreams came true...and Y/N finally gets to meet Ellie Carpenter. "Oh shit, I'm going to meet Ellie Carpenter." ---- This is a slow burn and will probably last 30 chapters? That's my guess. Started: 21/09/2023 Finished: N/A

Valentine Dahlberg is a Swedish prodigy. After playing for English side Manchester City, during two covid-stricken seasons, she knew it was time for the next step in her career. After a disappointing penalty shootout at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, when European giants Lyon offer her a contract for the 2021/2022 season, Val instantly took up the opportunity. Despite not knowing a word of French, she left Manchester, the place she had grown to call home, and took a risk, moving across Europe, to begin at a new club. At Lyon, the usually lovable Val, clashes with one of her new teammates. At first, their disagreements reflect onto the game, with their performances being less than decent. But when they find out that they undoubtedly have a midfield connection on the pitch, they must put aside their grudges and work together in order to benefit the team. What will come out of their relationship, will they be able to finish the season without any drama? As Valentine adjusts to living in Lyon, new relationships develop and she is forced to come face to face with her inner conflicts, which have been there since she was twelve years old. She almost reaches a breaking point, with discoveries about herself threatening to expose the vulnerable yet authentic side of her, the side she has spent so long trying to hide. Will the struggles of her past come back to haunt her, or will she be able to get over all the insecurities that have formed since the accident? a Danielle van de Donk story.

After experiencing the heartbreak of a lifetime, Tippah Jones decides to leave Lyon, and move to Arsenal, in the January transfer window of 2022. The 23-year-old Australian midfielder is ready for a fresh start, away from her ex-girlfriend, Ellie Carpenter, and the pains of heartache. At Arsenal, Tippah's life brightens. She starts playing alongside her fellow Matildas, Steph Cately and Caitlin Foord, and meets new people, including the new English captain, Leah Williamson. However, this new life, for Tippah, isn't always easy. The pain is always there. The anger is always there. But, someone, somehow, is able to make it all better, lighting Tippah up like only Ellie had ever been able to do before. Everything seemed as if it was falling into place. As if the pain allowed for new happiness. But, Tippah's demons run deeper than just a surface level heartbreak. Her pain is not just found in her past, but also her present. Her anger isn't found just in heartbreak, but also addiction. How does Tippah deal with this forthcoming pain? How does her new team help her, including the person she never thought could love her? And, in the end, can pain actually be healed with time? Right Where You Left Me is the second story in the Swiftly Pitched series, showcasing how childhood trauma can translate to adult pains, and that the people around you are the most important, even if you don't believe it at first.
