This is a fantasy novel with hints of science-fiction in a dystopic and post-apocalyptic world. It addresses the themes of the origin of civilisation, abuse of power, and the things that lead to the destruction of the Earth, notably overpopulation. Is it safer to obey and do what your community expects from you or is it worth it to question the system and live the life you want to live?

The MATRIARCHY sees everything: this is where life begins and ends for everyone. For Kaitlyn Brown, this was exactly what she needed.
