Current word count: 6.8k L wasn't looking for a partner, but the Kira case proved to be too big of a challenge, and he wasn't prepared to face it alone. That was when he met Y/n. A smart, sarcastic, talkative boy with no self preservation and the same brilliant mind he had. It was hard to say no, so he didn't. What L wasn't able to calculate, were his feelings for Y/n.

Ada's and L's lives are connected by an invisible string, which means if she dies he dies and vica versa. So it's really unfair to the reader when she dies by a heart attack as she is watching her favorite anime's latest episode (Deathnote episode 25) just as L dies on the screen. To give her a second chance to save herself or to save to him, she is sent to his life, to his world, where she has to make sure she remembers enough on time to cut this Kira named threat from her and L's lives.

Sure, she doesn't know what really happened, but to her it seems like a real super hero story! Almost like a manga! She can be shy and awkward, fumbling and foolish when nervous. Traits that remind many of a young Matsuda. Get her started on a subject she's passionate about, though (like manga and anime); and she glows as she chats your ear off. Fearing this naive rookie will be broken as he had been, Matsuda becomes critical of her. Meanwhile, his friends see a chance to heal his fractured spirit. Roxana Suzuki is a death note fan who inhabited the body of a girl after her death. Not long after finding out, her last dying wish came true, having the chance to save her favorite character she puts her goal into motion. A shinigami's life is so boring, even though you have the power to kill any human at any time, in reality, it can get boring. (Y/n) is a shinigami, the shinigami king's most trusted subject. (Y/n) has been alive for millions of years with her being one of the first shinigami to appear. Over some time, (Y/n) met with Ryuk as she reprimanded him for calling their shinigami ruler an "old man". Ever since then, they have met more frequently, and have gotten to know each other more. Soon, they became good friends. One day, (Y/n) went to met him, only to hear the disturbing news that he went to the human realm, and even purposely dropped his death note there, too! Though it's not his death note, the results can still be catastrophic. Deciding to go down to the human realm to make sure that Ryuk does nothing stupid seems to hold more head-achs than she first bargained for, especially when the shinigami king decided to put her there to make sure that the person using the death note does not go too far.
