The life was like a trial mix. It was made of delicious nuts you kept buying it for and raisins. The sticky, disgusting moments you had to swallow the quickest you can. You could share it with other people. Some of them would just pick the nuts, some would let you just pour the mix out of the package onto their hands and accepted the nuts and the raisins. It was rare that someone offered to take your raisins only. Which was a huge waste, because Fito had a gigantic amount of raisins to share. Actually, his trial mix was a raisins mix only with the words "may contain peanuts" under the list of ingredients. The good news was that if you get fed only with raisins, you eventually are going to learn to settle for them. The jelly texture will not be a problem, and the disgusting aftertaste also not. And you will eventually stop being disappointed with the mix you got. Fito was not disappointed. He didn't dream for more, and for sure didn't await it to come. He didn't even hope to graduate knowing that he was only passing four of his classes. And he was taking eleven subjects. Especially in the form of a mid aged man who was watching him and chit-chatting with his trainer the whole length of his practice. !! It is an aftg fanfiction and may contain spoilers !!

When Wymack goes to recruit Neil, instead of gratitude for showing interest in a kid that the rest of the world had written off as a lost cause, he gets hit with an ultimatum: "You have to take him too," He'd said "It's a two-for-one deal. He won't even argue, I promise." Judging by Coach Hernandez's shocked and mildly pissed-off look, he hadn't been expecting it either. Wymack wasn't a man who liked to be deceived. He'd just spent the last twenty minutes trying to convince a kid to join his team, and before he'd even signed the papers he was trying to cut a deal with him. Well, one thing was for sure, the kid had balls. Major balls. Wymack threw a quick glance over to Neil's soon-to-be former coach, all he got in response though, was a light shrug as his brain struggled to catch up to what was happening. "Well..." Kevin wouldn't like this, and Andrew would probably hate it even more, but the two had also said they needed Neil. 'No matter what'. Had been Kevin's words. What else was he supposed to do? "Is he any good?" He asked tiredly. Being met with silence was much more worrying than it should have been.
