Life, they say, is so full of all sorts of crap, especially for teenagers who have yet to experience all that life has to offer. There's Marco Winters. He's funny, cool, devilishly handsome, and just an all around nice guy. Of course, he's also very popular with the ladies and that's where the problem comes in. Marco wants to get serious for once, and he thinks he's finally found the right girl. Then, there's Mahogany Alderly. She's quiet, artsy, quite plain, and a little bit weird. One day, she decides that she needs a little fun in her boring old life, but the problem is she did not know where to even begin. Mahogany wants to go on an adventure and she's ready to tough it out to get one. Needless to say, life is a very messed up place not to have things to hold on to or to change. However,there is indeed a need to be careful. Because you'd want to hold on to things that matter and you'd want to change for the good. And amidst the thunderstorm called Life, Marco and Mahogany are about to have the misadventure of a lifetime.

Something that has been going through my head lately. It may be a bit depressing. Note that this is my first poem ever and English isn't my first language, so if you see a mistake, please let me know.

*HATE* by Abagael Hodgkinson Once upon a time there was peace and harmony all around, people enjoyed each others company, children played in the streets, fathers, mothers, families, laughed, joked, love was what the people lived for. Then people started disliking one another, countries against countries, people against people, now war had begun. Sons, fathers, uncles, men went off to fight for their countries, brave, but what they; the people who decided war should be, didn't realize that families would be destroyed. No more peace... Woman, children, broken, children cry, their homes and lives destroyed, demolished, families destroyed. After war life was not so... normal anymore, peaceful but now their was hate! War ended, but still sadness, a new life, bad memories. Babies born, children playing on the streets, children listening, watching. Uncles, fathers, brothers, sons, grandsons receiving medals of honor, for bravery, the men that the war had favored. The sound of the trumpet blowing, though many didn't make it, love was still in the families hearts... watching, listening to the trumpets blowing loudly. Home again, life and love still moaning of people, woman, men who's life had been destroyed. Mothers cry, children laughing, trumpets blowing, stars shinning, life then halts... We go back, all the way back to the beginning. The time, place, day it all began.... Once upon a time.

They say nothing should matter when you love someone. As long as you love them everything is okay right? That's only when you think unrealistically but in the real world it does matter. Scott Zeman is speechless. A surgical accident from the age of fifteen and a half has left him with the ability to comprehend everything as clearly as he had for the rest of his life but without the ability to speak. His handicap consumed him and took away his quarterback position, friends who worshiped the ground he walked on, pick at girls, his dreams of becoming president and getting rid of all the scum of the Earth, in short it took away his life and left him with noting but bitterness. But now Scott is awake and he is ready for some action. His sidekick of choice is the geeky, lonesome kid down the hall who has just the plan to take down the rotten underbelly of Chicago that plagues the street. And Scott must do it without a word.
