It is what sets Grisha apart from Otkazat'sya, those blessed with power and those not. This story is the "thatness" to Six of Crows' "thisness", where like calls to slightly altered like. Etovost is a Grishaverse/Six-of-Crows-specific AU in which every Grisha is now Otkazat'sya, and every Otkazat'sya becomes Grisha. It is unlike any other thing in the canon Grishaverse. Much will be changed. But there will still be mourners, and there will still be funerals. Wylan Van Eck and Jesper Fahey are in a close relationship and living in a house that previously belonged to Jan Van Eck, a jailed mercher and Wylan's father. Nina Zenik is living an exciting life in Ravka with her fellow Grisha and Inej Ghafa lives a free life on her vessel, the Wraith, and hunts slavers. The five of these criminals' paths merged to bring havoc to Ketterdam and have since lead them in many different directions. Despite the recovering city's best efforts, something is brewing once again in Kerch that will bring these theives, thugs, and soldiers together once again. These characters do not belong to me, nor does the story, settings, and ideas presented. The front cover and any other art in this story are mine. It's an easy second job that Jesper manages to con himself into. The only problem: Jesper can't play shit. And his new student, Wylan Van Eck, catches on.
