What if Kaz was an Inferni that burned the Reaper's Barge? What if Nina was a normal Ravkan girl with new secrets to hide? Much will be changed. But there will still be mourners, and there will still be funerals. This is a Six of Crows fanfic following the events of Crooked Kingdom, after Matthias's ...demise... The crows have heard news of a new type of Grisha with the abilities to bring people back from the dead... the problem is though, that this Grisha is supposedly on a prison island - that shouldn't exist - surrounded by deadly and dangerous criminals. Never the less, they set out in search of the prison, only to come face to face with a problem that could prove worse that their friend's death.
