When the river runs dry at Shiro's small village, the council collectively agrees to send him on a quest to seek the deities responsible. Except no one ever warned him that the almighty gods were not all knowing and powerful, but a couple of teens that some genius decided to give the world to.

To say that the students at Garrison Academy and Kaltenecker High loath each other would be putting it mildly. Garrison attendees see the other school as full of druggies and drop-outs, and Kaltenecker views their rivals as snooty and stuck-up. They tend to steer clear of each other at all costs. Then a new government program is launched, known simply as "The Penpal Project", which requires students from each school to communicate with each other entirely through letters. Needless to say, the pupils are not happy with this arrangement. Will the hatred between Garrison Academy and Kaltenecker High continue to rot, or will unlikely friendships blossom? Maybe, just maybe, the students find they come away from this project with more than just papercuts... * * * This fanfiction is written entirely in the form of letters, as inspired by the "Feeling Sorry for Celia" book series. All characters belong to the creators of Voltron. Content warning: smut free, but swearing is not uncommon. Any trigger-warnings will be put at the start of their respective chapters.
