So this is confusing I guess but it's a story where the reader gets kidnapped and tortured by Marianas trench and you'll see as it goes!

Lauren is just a weird 18 year old girl who is into pop punk music and a bunch of bands that most people don't like. Her boyfriend is always pushing her around and everyone has had enough of it, especially Josh. When Lauren's now ex-boyfriend Derek tries going after Lauren again, Josh jumps in and is now her fake boyfriend to try to get her ex off of her back, but Josh and Lauren being a fake couple makes Josh realize he might just have true feelings for Lauren.

Josh has had feelings for Kiki for many many years yet he is afraid she won't reciprocate his feelings. While he protects her to the best of his abilities, other problems from the past come around to knock at their door again. TW: depression and self harm.

Caroline Austin is dazed and confused when she comes home one night to find old letters addressed to her. She finds them in one of her old books and discovers that she had an admirer from ten years ago. The letters all have one thing in common, they are signed by a man named "J". Caroline has always known she lost her memory when she was younger, but never bothered to regain it. Finding the letters, however, motivates her. Everyday, she reads one and discovers why she is the way she is. In between, Caroline meets one of her clients best men, Josh Ramsay. After their first meeting, she finds him conceited and annoying. Josh thinks different. He takes an instant liking to the plain girl and decides to make a bet with her. If he can make her fall in love with him by the end of his friend's wedding, he can kiss her and she will be his. There are two problems with that though, Josh's girlfriend, Amanda, and "J".

(Josh is aware of this, by the way) Mia just doesn't want to be a Cry Baby anymore.

Soon Josh is sent to go live with his dad, stepmom and brother. Will Josh be okay, or will he break? What will he think of his brother's friend (soon to be boyfriend) Dan? Will he find love?
