First of all a huge SPOILER ALERT, so if you haven't finished the death note anime/manga you really shouldn't read this story. About the story: it's a background story to the original death note. It tells what happened to mello and matt after mello got his face scar. And I'm really sorry to dissapoint all of you yaoi fangirls but this is not a matt x mello ;D

What happens when Matt starts to notice that he may have different feelings for Mello? What happens when everything changes? Well, as they say... here's to New Beginnings.
