Lily is close friends with Ross, George, Adam and Matty from the 1975. They aren't as big as One Direction or 5sos, but they are known. And the band is about to head away on tour for a few months and its going to be hard for both Lily and Matty since they are so close. Matty was once an alcoholic and he was also heavily into drugs until the boys sent him to rehab because they couldn't deal with who he was becoming, it worried everyone. When he got out he promised Lily that he would never let himself become that way again, she meant the world to him and he never wanted to hurt her again. But Lily knows he is capable of getting back into it, which is why she is so worried about having to stay back in Manchester. Will Matty be able to stay away from the alcohol and drugs like he promised Lily? Or will it get the best of him?

Matty and Ally meet at uni and immediately don't get along, but when they're forced to work on a project together will they learn that they might not be as polar opposite as they'd like to think, or will they let their differences get the best of them? Matty, a typical "bad boy" wears lots of black, involved with alcohol and drugs, and he has a heart of black, if one at all Ally, has never been involved with people like him, gets straight a's, only has a couple friends and just wants to fly under the radar this year.
