She left The Scarlet Guard to pick up the pieces of the broken country and live in peace with her family and friend. But over time her need to be useful over comes her and she's leaves back to Norta to become that Lighting Girl she once was only to find herself closed off once again by the people she thought she trusted and the man she thought she loved. • Up in Northern LakeLand, there is a small town. A few minutes away from the town is house were a young women lives her ordinary life supporting herself in an ordinary way. But her ordinary acts and choices can never hide from what she is. A demon, or a monster as they say, that can't face her past even when it comes back to greet her again.

Mira was thought to be a normal Red in the Stilts. When her eighteenth birthday nears, she and her best friend Mare start to fear conscription. When starting to write my fan fiction, I decided to use the book The Red Queen because this is one of my favorite books and the first time I read it I immediately became hooked. In the book there is always action or some new plot twist happening to keep the reader wanting more. When I began writing I didn't have much of an Idea of what to write about. Eventually, I decided to create an episode taking place in the Palace with Mare, Cal, Maven, and Shade. I tried to include a few elements from the original story including, Maven taking over the power, and Mare's brother Shade coming back, to help it continue to feel like it was still a version of the original book, just a different setting and string of events. During the writing process, there were a few conflicts that I ran into. When my essay was revised, I got feedback that my story seemed confusing at some points, and there wasn't enough background information. From there on, I went back and added in details I hadn't thought to add in the first time because I had already read the book. Each new scene that I added, I made sure there was enough details for a person who has never read the book to be able to understand quite easily. The story didn't turn out how I had imagined in the beginning but I am still happy with the outcome, as this is my first time writing a fan fiction and I got to write it about my favorite book and characters.

What if mare wasn't a red what if she was a silver a Samos no less. Mare isn't Mare she is Addaline Viper Samos. But Maven still loves her so this is kind of Mareven. It is based on the story line of Red Queen by the amazing author she is Victoria Aveyard.

Mare and Maven make a deal beneath the bowl of bones. I know this has been done before but I promise in this one they get a happy ending, or do they? (I don't know myself) This is my first ever fic so constructive feedback is encouraged with open arms. Any requests for specific scenes or POV's will also be gladly received. This fanfic will start where the second book ended, this is fanfiction on King's cage how i would want it to be (even tho I know it's already out). It will mostly about how Mare was tortured, and about her and Cal. So it's Marecal. • • • I feel claustrophobic. Now they flash in front of my eyes, Cal laying behind the bars when Maven pulled us down from the sky. Then Kilorn's eyes, begging for me not to leave. Tears start to fall from my eyes. So I open them and look upwards and try to blink them away.
