I stay in my place on the cold ground, waiting to see how he responds. He stops right in front of me, crouching down. He puts a hand out to push the hair out of my face and I let him. He is oddly gentle and an unreadable expression takes over his face. "Of course I do," he finally says, an inkling of pain on his pale face. "And I can have you live." This is my take on what would have happened if Mare chose Maven in the Bowl of Bones. Though she is kind to almost everyone she encounters, she can't feel anything but irritation towards her future husband. Characters and events from the Red Queen series belong to Victoria Aveyard. This fic is also being posted on Tumblr as a "x reader" series and uses "Y/N" instead of "Delia". I have only posted this on Wattpad and Tumblr, so if you see it anywhere else, let me know. This will be a Lucas Samos fanfiction in the first half, and even though I have physically read the series once and listened to it multiple times, things may be missed and the timeline may be slightly messed up. Also, ignore how Lucas was described in the books. I imagined his as a blonder Lucas Till for some reason (probably because they're both named Lucas), so that's how he looks here. Lucas is around 24 or 25, Delia is about 20 or 21. I have plans for this so stick around. Lucas and Delia do not have a happy ending, just as a spoiler, but Delia will find her own happy ending.

Who would be interested in a RQ Black Friday fanfiction special? I was thinking that it would take place post-Calore Dance Academy, IF Mare accepted Mister Calore's contract offer and bought a house. This intense Black Friday shopping spree would entail the RQ characters going out and spending tens of thousands of dollars to help Mare's family furnish their brand-new house. Sounds hilarious, right? Mare and Cal would be together in the fan fiction, and it would basically be as though everything was magically resolved. (for example, Cal and Farley could be in the same room and it wouldn't be weird) Maybe Maven and Thomas meet, and they pull some shenanigans at Best Buy? Perhaps Farley and Ruth Barrow balance one another out at Target and end up bonding? And most certainly do Mare's brothers give Cal a hard time at Walmart. *this fan fiction special shall be posted on Thanksgiving! Which dropped Major bombs on what may happen during the book.(Which can be found on her Tumblr) So I've got some predictions, and thoughts about how'd I think King's Cage is gonna go down.
