Eines Nachts läuft sie einem roten Jungen namens Kilorn Warren, der sich gerade zusammen mit der Scharlachroten Garde, einer Rebellionsgruppe, ins Schloss einschleusen will, über den Weg und hinterlässt einen verwunderlichen Eindruck bei dem Fischerjungen aus Stilts, einem kleinen Dorf am Fluss. Als der Krieg und Mavens Herrschaft beginnt, flüchtet sie zur Scharlachroten Garde. Aber nicht allein, sondern gleich noch mit ihren Geschwistern. Die Spaltung der Häuser am Hof führt dann auch noch dazu, dass Haus Osanos sich ganz der Garde anschließt. Doch egal wie oft Kendra ihre Treue beweist, Kilorn will ihr einfach nicht trauen oder gar sehen, was sie für ihn empfindet. Denn es gibt immer nur Mare. Außerdem ist er der Überzeugung, alle Silbernen wären Monster und lässt Kendra einfach keine Chance, sich zu beweisen. Ein erschütterndes Ereignis jedoch bringt ihn dazu, seine Einstellung in Frage zu stellen.

Cordelia Osanos was always going to be betrothed to another from a High House, but she never imagined it would be to Lucas Samos, a son of one of the most cruel of the Silver houses. Though she is kind to almost everyone she encounters, she can't feel anything but irritation towards her future husband. Characters and events from the Red Queen series belong to Victoria Aveyard. This fic is also being posted on Tumblr as a "x reader" series and uses "Y/N" instead of "Delia". If you would rather read it that way (it's word for word the same other than that), it's under the username losers_clvb or you can go to the link on my account. I have only posted this on Wattpad and Tumblr, so if you see it anywhere else, let me know. This will be a Lucas Samos fanfiction in the first half, and even though I have physically read the series once and listened to it multiple times, things may be missed and the timeline may be slightly messed up. Also, ignore how Lucas was described in the books. I imagined his as a blonder Lucas Till for some reason (probably because they're both named Lucas), so that's how he looks here. Lucas is around 24 or 25, Delia is about 20 or 21. I have plans for this so stick around. Lucas and Delia do not have a happy ending, just as a spoiler, but Delia will find her own happy ending.

Inspired by a Hamilton au and a friend of mine's brainchild. Just don't ask where the turkey came from....I'm still wondering myself. Anyway, I had this idea that seemingly hasn't been done before. There are alternate universes in the modern world, such as high school. So this is just a fic the really has no major plot, just the adventures of the RQ characters in the fascinating world of............. Kindergarten. Btw, as a joke (or is it?) the theme song to this is ABC by Jackson 5.

FANFIC: MAVEN x MARE from RED QUEEN. Book focused on events from GLASS SWORD, but takes its own from there until the end. WARNING: Before reading, I want to get a few things straight. The characters, settings are all owned by Victoria Aveyard. I am a great fan of the Red Queen series, but after reading I still believe that Maven deserves something better that being a monster. I just can't shrug the feeling off that there's more to his side of the story. Aside from original scenes from the Glass Sword, I will be adding different story lines of my own.
