What if the Top Gun: Maverick we know was slightly different. Let's say we add a new character, one all the team's gonna love but one they will realise they don't know at all. This character would be a girl named Maeve, callsign Shadow. She's a fighter pilot like everyone else and she's been in their promotion. They all trained together and she is used to fly with Hangman during missions. All she told her mates was her mother worked at the Pentagon. Nothing about her father. But she had a style, a way of flying that her instructors knew too well. Bold, dangerous and yet she was following the rules, she'd never transgressed one. What if, she was called back at Top Gun with everyone else without knowing why though she knew a bit more than everybody else. This is my version of Top Gun Maverick

Years ago, her brother, also a Top Gun pilot, vanished in a classified crash they left more silence than answers. He was her anchor, her idol. And his death? A scar that never fully healed. The mission he died on? Still shrouded in the shadows of seemed else's legacy -Captain Pete "Maverick" Mitchell. based on top gun. 'Die on this hill' a Bradley 'rooster' Bradshaw x Hailey 'mayhem' Blackwood. Bradley is an ambitious,talented, and level-headed person. Particularly attractive if you ask his one of many women, if you guessed it. Yes bradley bradshaw was a player, and thats was Hailey Blackwood absolutley hated. Her and Bradley were on and off in highschool, always arguing- petty arguments. They grew up around eachother, considering her dad was his godfather. Growing up, her dad and mum was never together when she was born, but that didnt mean he didnt atleast stick around. Well.. he did, but not in the best way. When goose died, her dad was always there for carole and bradley, completley forgetting his daughter. And when she was 15, same age as bradley, carole passed away. Making the abscense of her father grow more. And she hated it. Hated how it made her feel, and she hated bradley for it. That was the reason they ended it fully in highschool. She belived they only got together because he wanted a girlfriend and she was dumb enough to be his girlfriend. Lucky her and bradley never saw eachother after highschool, not at the academy, not in missions and not in squadrons. But that doesnt mean, Hailey Blackwood ever forget him. How could she? It was bradley bradshaw, she was sure the asshole would stay in her mind when she was old and dying. Throughout the time at the academy, Hailey met Regina 'striker' samuels, her WSO. regina was the the direct opposite of Hailey, in looks and personality. Hailey is blonde with blue eyes, just like her mother, with tanned skin from countless days spent outside. Regina has pale skin and dark brown hair, but her eyes are a light golden brown. While she is outgoing and will talk your ear off, hailey was quieter and more reserved. The two of them quickly became an unbeatable pair, on the ground and in the sky. They are Mayhem and Striker. After all.
