Mawsten or Muke? Which will prevail? Michael and Luke have had feelings for one another for as long as they remember. Except, neither of them know the other does. They've kept quiet about it for years and now Michael is married and has a kid. Luke had vowed to keep his secret for eternity, but will he stick to it when Michael catches the eye of another man?

Awsten, a musician and part time barista, finds a mysterious journal that turns into reality everything that's written on it. He uses it to try and fix his life, and... maybe even find love? Or at least, that's what he hopes for when he sees a beautiful blonde and black haired guy come into the coffee shop one morning.

It was just a music video kiss. A wattpad ending. A Twitter bit. But when Michael accidentally drinks from Awsten's cup of Orange Frost fragrance instead of coffee, something impossible happens. One kiss later, they're ripped from reality-hurtled back into younger versions of themselves, caught in a glitching loop of past concerts, teen timelines, and unfinished moments. Now, trapped between years that already happened and memories that never did, Awsten and Michael must figure out how to get back to the present before they lose themselves completely. But as they tumble through stages they once played, fire cannons they never dodged, and a closeness that never used to feel like this... something changes. Michaels life at the moment seemed to be a constant string of misfortunes, haunted by a mysterious man with brightly dyed hair. Maybe it was bad luck, or a stalker... or maybe he just needed to change his perspective. "youre being followed, but you dont know why."

Awsten Knight, barista at a NYC coffee shop, is totally, absolutely not crushing on the Poli Sci major with colored hair like his, just a little longer, and the sexiest Aussie accent who keeps coming into the shop every day before class. He is totally chill about the whole thing. Michael Clifford, a Poli Sci major at NYU, totally keeps going to the same not-even-that-good coffee shop near the campus every morning for the vibes, and it has nothing to do with the barista with the adorable laugh.

It was the summer of friendships, love,... and all the possibilities.. I didn't know anything about love, but what I knew was my feelings for them. In some ways I can tell that I spend one of the most beautiful summer of my life, and in other ways the worst... .

Awsten hated all guitarists, even his own who he had murdered, he was now out for Michael Clifford. Will he manage to murder Michael too or will something change? Killer to... prompt. Icl i struggled so hard to stay in the 1k word limit so enjoy this, i usually write on AO3 so this was a change!
