im such a sucker for found family ive been watching camp camp since 2017 LMAO it feels so weird to be writing fanfics for it in 2024??! hello???? also yay season 5 im so excited to see what they do this season. funny how ONE new episode of a show can bring back a big old hyperfixation from the vault.

Once the bus drove max to his house, max immediately felt an immense sense of dread crash over him. He didn't "enjoy" camp, but he didn't really want to leave after he realized that Nikki and Neil were friends that were here to stay throughout the rest of elementary and possibly middle school. Every single time they spent together was during camp, every single second was adventure and a real sense of happiness. And now as Max walked into his home, he couldn't help but almost miss that happy feeling with his friends and constantly antagonizing David for fun. He's changed, he doesn't like the fact he's changed, but he has. But there's not really anything he could do about it now. School starts back up in two weeks and he needs to ask his parents to take him back to school shopping, or they'll just shove money in his arms and tell him to get it himself. He didn't like that. He's independent, but he's only 10, he shouldn't need to be independent. Though max doesn't really know that, he's used to doing things himself. He doesn't know that he should have someone by his side to help him buy his school supplies, to help him do his homework when he doesn't understand, to help him when he needs it. He hasn't experienced that yet. Though after he finds the Camp Campbell website, and finds a certain counselors phone number on it, maybe he's ready to finally get the proper help he deserves.

As the days grew closer to the last day of camp, David started to see a change in Max's behavior. When the day finally arrived, David saw just how terrible Max's parents actually were. Now David has to fight to get Max in to a loving home.

it was spose to be a normal day well it was for the most part, it was more of the end that threw the whole camp for a loop. max was getting ready for bed he wad a little later than Neil who left only a few minutes before him. max splashed cold water on his face than reluctantly trudging back to his tent, kicking off his shoes and sitting on the little cot that he slept on noticing that the little brown bear that max named mr, honey nuts was gone and thats how camp cambell had the start of the worse week of the whole summer.
