Max's p.o.v Before Max left, her and Chloe were dating and so in love. Now Max is back in Arcadia before Rachel ever went missing. This fanfiction takes the story from an alternative ending to the "Sacrifice Chloe Price" ending. In this retelling, Max has a change of heart after going back in time, and takes the bullet for Chloe instead. Max Caulfield is dead, but her notebook remains unchanged. Chloe now has to hunt down the man who enabled Nathan and find Rachel Amber, armed only with Max's notebook, and will find new allies in order to avenge her best friends.
