In this version of An Extremely Goofy Movie, Max and his twin sister Y/N head off to college together, completely inseparable, along with their best friends Bobby and P.J. Together, they form a team and end up entering the college X Games, hoping to prove themselves outside of Goofy's shadow.
Y/N is a bit of a daddy's girl, always close to Goofy and emotionally attached to him-especially because she resembles his late wife and their mother. Goofy is protective of both twins, but he's noticeably more protective of Y/N, which she doesn't really mind... even though it drives Max crazy. Max is already trying to be independent, so he gets frustrated with how overbearing Goofy can be, especially toward Y/N, while Y/N tends to understand her dad more and stays loyal to him in her own way.
At college, Max tries to reinvent himself while Y/N quietly makes history as the first girl ever allowed to compete in the X Games, joining the team as a roller-skating athlete alongside Bobby. PJ and Max compete in their own events, and the group quickly becomes a strong but chaotic underdog team.
As the X Games heat up, Y/N starts gaining attention-not just for her skills, but also from a confident rival competitor known as Bradly, who notices her talent and starts pushing her in and out of the competition in a way that raises the stakes for everyone.
Between intense training, sibling tension, and Goofy trying (and failing) to stay out of the way, Max and Y/N are forced to grow up fast. In the end, they learn how to balance independence, family, and competition-while proving they're more than just Goofy's kids, even if they'll always have each other's backs.
