Dia tidak pernah sendirian. Ketika aku melihat wajah datarnya bersama teman-temannya yang tengah menertawakan sesuatu. Aku selalu tidak habis pikir ketika ia selalu mencampakkan ucapan teman-temannya. Dia di kelilingi banyak orang tetapi tatapan matanya seolah mengatakan bahwa dia kesepian. Ah, tahu apa aku ini? Tidak berhak aku mengomentari kehidupannya. Memang siapa aku? Aku hanyalah seorang gadis yang hidup dalam kemewahan namun berpura-pura menjadi si miskin yang sering mendapat cacian. Aku tidak ada apa-apanya di banding mereka. Mereka gadis yang terang-terangan memperlihatkan kemewahan orangtuanya dengan kesombongan tanpa batas. Ya. Aku hanyalah gadis biasa tanpa popularitas di kampus, hanya segelintir orang yang mengenalku. Dan ada satu orang yang membuatku penasaran akan hidupnya. Dia, pria bersikap dingin yang selalu di kelilingi banyak orang namun masih tetap bertahan dengan wajah dinginnya. Aku ingin tahu, apa yang dia pikirkan, apa yang dia rasakan, dan dia hilangkan kemana senyumannya yang bahkan aku nyaris tidak pernah melihatnya. Aku penasaran.

Alice est en seconde année de médecine quand elle décide de tout arrêter et de fuir toute ses mauvaises fréquentations. Mais même quand on se pense en sécurité notre passé refait surface à un moment ou un autre. Et puis quand on stop toute sa vie sur un coup de tête quand on a seulement 20 ans on ne s'en sort pas forcément pour le mieux. Entre son ex Dylan et sa nouvelle vie il y a un fossé qui se creuse celui-ci ne l'accepte pas et le lui fera payer. Quand le sang vient entacher un chemisier blanc la seule façon d'enlever cette tâche et de la réduire en cendre jusqu'à ses racines.
