Seto Kaiba goes to the hospital to visit his brother, but he gets distracted each time by a girl named Angel whose singing captivates him. He discovers that Angel remains in the hospital even after his brother is discharged because of an illness. Seto learns about Angel's past, feels empathetic towards her, and wishes he could help. However, the doctors explain that there is nothing more they can do except keep her comfortable until her time comes.

When Harry is expelled for the accidental murder of Professor Quirrel, who was secretly being possessed by Voldemort, he is sent to Japan by Dumbledore along with a mysterious necklace made by his mother that has ties to an ancient world of monsters and magic, well, apart from the magic he has already.
