Sokovia was embroiled in constant war and became the base of operations for a HYDRA cell operated by Wolfgang von Strucker. In an effort to help purge their country of strife, the twins and Mira joined HYDRA and agreed to undergo experiments with the Scepter under the supervision of Strucker. The trio received superpowers as a result. Wanda attained various abilities including telekinesis and telepathy. Pietro acquired the ability to move at supersonic speeds. Mira obtained the power of emotional manipulation and empathy. She can sense and manipulate the emotions of others. She has the power to fully interpret and replicate the emotions and moods of others. Will Mira find herself and a new meaning for her life?
