When Arian turned fourteen, he lost his father and found himself in the care of his uncle Alexander and his cousin Maximus, who was a year older. The two of them pulled him out of his grief and taught him that life doesn't end with loss.
Now, at twenty-one, Arian works with Maximus at Alexander's company. He has made a firm decision: he won't let the past steal his youth. He will live, travel, and have fun.
The only problem is that whenever Arian and Maximus are together, they become a "walking disaster," as Alexander calls them. Their pranks target employees and investors alike, and their first victim is always the poor uncle who, despite everything, considers them his own sons.
Things get complicated when his mother, Ilara, reappears after years of absence and asks him to spend a week at her house. There, Arian discovers that she has a husband and children: seven-year-old Lian, eighteen-year-old Cain, and fifteen-year-old Zane. He meets his grandfather Silas for the first time, along with his twin uncles Lorcan and Kaden, his aunt Dalia, and her twin sons, Myra and Sylvan.
Just one week, that's all he promised. A week that wouldn't change anything... that's what Arian thought. But little did he know that a few weeks can be enough to rearrange your heart, and that some families don't let you go easily, even if you're the "walking disaster."
