The Eggman Empire have been taken over by Infinite alongside Metal and Zavok to seek revenge on Cinos for the past war. Many of Cinos' friends went to other universes which are home to more of Cinos' friends which are Ash Ketchum, Max Taylor, Natsu Dragneel, and Ruby Rose. Eggman who told Cinos' friends to get them to be part of the new war between The Second Resistance and The Phantom Empire (Infinite's superior version of the Eggman Empire).

As the teammate calls Peter something Max doesn't appreciate the two have a little fight. Max and Peter start doubting themselves and each other.

Three years have passed since the D-team defeated Specter and his space pirates, Max has cut himself off after his grandfather passed away in a car accident, since then he has not spoken to Zoe, but Rex and the alpha gang return to help them stop a threat, will Max assist them or will he leave them once again?

Moxxie is from the future just like Rex but his full memory was washed when he arrived in the present. He was discovered in the same site as Rex ( in New York City) and was adopted by dr drake ( Zoe's Father )
