Maxwell, the man who tossed Wilson into the woods without consent, goes to visit Wilson. Maxwell realizes how miserable Wilson is when he's around, so Maxwell decides to stay awhile. This is my first fanfic, it's very far from the best, but I tried. Haha Maxwell was always the littlest bit clumsy. He tripped over his own feet, falling, scraping his arms and legs, watching the blood dribble down slowly from the wound. He knew nothing of healing wounds, he just... let them be. This resulted in several infections. Not properly cleaning the wound or anything else up the ladder. He decided to go to a high-end doctor, Dr. Wilson P. Higgsbury.

Per request of Wickerbottom, it's up to Maxwell to find out what it is. The two gradually become closer, causing another person to become jealous.

Wilson P. Higgsbury is not in the least bit charmed by the previous GM who stands before him. He is sickened by all the pain that has been caused to him and his detest seems unfaltering. How in the world could he let himself fall for someone who has done such terrible things? Maxwell is ready to make amends. He can't defend what he has done because it was wrong, he's always known it was wrong, but he is going to try and be better. No matter how he has to do it he will make amends in whatever way he can. A Don't Starve Together fan fic retelling the events in between the first and second games spanning into the DST main game. It will explore themes of romance, remorse, friendship, and hardship.
