Well, when Max got back from Camp Campbell his parents sent him to live with his aunt who barley took care of him either. He had just gotten back and his parents were sending him off again. He doesn't know who, but he knows he'll be living with a few other kids his age. Who will Max be living with? Who would want to put up with his attitude? At the end of summer Maxes parents get arrested after the Miller agents find out they've been working with Mr. Cambell. After the adults talk, David volunteers to take Max in, of course. David trys is best to be a loving and caring father figure for Max, as for the boy is still getting used to that kind of attention. on top of everything Max also has to deal with a new school, but he does hear some formiler voices.

(Max is 13 and Neil is 14 in this fanfic! Also, I have no ownership of Camp Camp!) What if, in the episode Mind Freakers, instead of Neil being obsessed over Harrison's magic trick and how he could do it, he was actually worried about Max rather than the magic trick? I'll tell you what would happen-- Maxeil/Nax would become sO CANON- *ahem* Anyway, a whole new story would unwind, and the two would fall in love. The problem is, Max is incredibly dense, since he never loved anyone romantically before (He used to love his parents, but let's not get into that... yet). So, Max tries his best to understand /why/ he feels so happy around Neil, or the knot in his chest when he sees Tabbii fawning over Neil. It's time for Max to learn How to Love Someone.

Max and neil are at camp together and hear noises from the woods.

Once the bus drove max to his house, max immediately felt an immense sense of dread crash over him. He didn't "enjoy" camp, but he didn't really want to leave after he realized that Nikki and Neil were friends that were here to stay throughout the rest of elementary and possibly middle school. Every single time they spent together was during camp, every single second was adventure and a real sense of happiness. And now as Max walked into his home, he couldn't help but almost miss that happy feeling with his friends and constantly antagonizing David for fun. He's changed, he doesn't like the fact he's changed, but he has. But there's not really anything he could do about it now. School starts back up in two weeks and he needs to ask his parents to take him back to school shopping, or they'll just shove money in his arms and tell him to get it himself. He didn't like that. He's independent, but he's only 10, he shouldn't need to be independent. Though max doesn't really know that, he's used to doing things himself. He doesn't know that he should have someone by his side to help him buy his school supplies, to help him do his homework when he doesn't understand, to help him when he needs it. He hasn't experienced that yet. Though after he finds the Camp Campbell website, and finds a certain counselors phone number on it, maybe he's ready to finally get the proper help he deserves.

This takes place in a fantasy realm where different creatures and magic exist. Things will be made up as I go on. Max-Werewolf Neil- Human Nicky-Cupid These are just the main characters, if another character comes up their creature will be explained This is my first fanfic so feel free to give me proper criticism, I will try my best to make each chapter good.
