Maya and Carina didn't think that one sigle second could change their entire existance, but when a butterfly starts to flutter her wings, they discover what it means to live the butterfly effect. Maya Bishop remembers being iced out by her team, she remembers being on the verge of breaking down every shift as the new captain of 19, and she most definitely remembers wanting to get away from all the noise, and so she ran, ran towards an open captain position in LA and it might've been the best decision she had ever made. But now? now it had been 5 years since she had seen the people she once called family. So what happens when she takes a job in Seattle as their new battalion chief. Note: all characters are owned by ABC and I claim no rights to any storyline or plot i have used in my fic. Station 19 is a spin-off from the longest running primetime medical drama in TV history- Greys anatomy. It has 7 seasons and follows the lives of the 19's firefighters and their spouses. It has been loved by fans since day one. However in December 2023 it was announced that this would be the last ever season of Station 19 to air on our screens. ABC we will never forgive you 💔. #savestation19

a fanfic about carina and maya will the blonde be ready to open up to the Italian?

I've seen plenty of Grey's/Station 19 fanfictions about Carina and Maya and I absolutely love their relationship. I can see them being great parents and I've thought about 'what if they were foster parents to a teenage girl?' This is my idea: Carina and Maya become foster moms to a 15 year-old girl named Leila. She's been in the system since she was 9 due to her abusive Dad killing her older sister and her mom abandoning her. Even though they are not married, Carina and Maya are doing a joint adoption. They get Leila in season 16 of Grey's Anatomy (roughly the end of season 3 of Station 19) and by the end of season 16 they've had her for about 6 months. The first few months were not easy, but Leila finally began attaching to her foster moms as well as developing a special relationship with her foster uncle Andrew. These will be mostly in Leila's POV.

Maya and Carina get back together after a break up. But what will happen to their relationship when Carina gets involved with an Italian prince?
