She did albums, tours, charity events, red carpets, award ceremonies. She had fans, agents, movie deals and money. She had everything, except for happiness. Joshua Matthews was a big time martial artist and streetfighter. He knew everything there was to know about fighting. His brother and sister in law along with his parents all died in a car crash leaving him with his niece and nephew Riley and Auggie. Josh gets offered a job as a bodyguard for Maya, the only thing is they can't date. Neither of them think that would be a problem, until it is. Maya has never met the Matthews in this book but Shawn still knows them and was still best friends with Cory.

7 years ago the Matthews moved to London because of a new job that was given to Topanga. Riley kept in touch with everyone the first few years. Once everybody graduated High School and went onto College things got a little harder and eventually Riley lost all contacts with everyone, including Maya. But now Riley is 23 years old and is finally moving back, not only to the U.S. but back to the State she grew up in, New York. She was both excited and scared. She was so happy to be going back home, but she didn't know if anyone was still there, or came back themselves. She knew Lucas and Zay had moved back to Texas for college. She knew Farkle and Smackle moved out of New York for college. But she didn't know if any of them moved back afterwards or decided to start their new lives elsewhere. She didn't know cause she hasn't talked to any of them in 3 years. She knew that Maya got into an Art College in New York but figured once she got the chance she got out of New York. Riley missed all of her friends and still beats herself up regularly for losing all of them, but no one more than Maya. She still can't believe she was no longer friends with the girl she grew up with. Her best friend that meant the world to her. Riley sometimes think that moving back to the place she grew up in is a bad idea because it will bring nothing but hurt to her knowing she'd moving back to nothing but memories and nobody.
