We're Queer Maya Hart recently came out as a lesbian. Riley Matthews still has to figure it out.

Maya Hart is a junior in high school just trying to get by the year and survive with her group of friends. Nothing in life is ever easy. One day her life takes a drastic turn and if you were hoping that it was going to make Maya's life better, well it kinda does but it also kinda gets worse. It's all because of her... Her Dream Girl 😓 Little update (June 13, 2019) Don't worry I won't just leave this story incomplete. Just been really depressed and haven't had motivation.

Riley Matthews is going to a new school, and new school means new bus. Riley's bus was a bus where kids from other schools get on. She meets a certain blonde on that bus. That blonde is Maya Hart.

"Maya! Where are you going?!" Riley yells, following the blonde girl. Maya stops and turns around to face Riley. The blonde's face has tears trailing down her cheeks, and her lip is quivering. Riley steps forward, but Maya takes a step back, her combat boots making a loud smacking sound on the concrete. "You want to know why I stay? Honestly, you're right. I hate this. Everyone is against me, and I even lost you," Maya laughs bitterly. "I want to leave so badly, I always have. The only reason I stay is you. You are what helps me wake up in the morning, knowing that someone in the world cares if I am alive or dead. You're the reason I haven't left because I can't live without you!" Riley looks at Maya, "Maya..." The blonde turns her head away from Riley. She squeezes her eyes shut, another tear slipping. The girl hugs herself. "I love you, Riley..." Maya says brokenly. And with that, Maya Hart slips away from the alley, leaving Riley standing there in shock.

When these five friends --Riley, Maya, Farkle, Zay, and Isadora-- are required to keep a journal at their new school, what stories and secrets will unfold as they start their first year of high school?

Maya finds out that she has a sister who was put up for adoption, and uncovers some feelings that she has never told anyone before.

Riley accidentally comes out. Maya wants to fit in with the crowd. Then they meet. (TRIGGER WARNING: This is set in a homophobic environment)

Riley Matthews finally gets into highschool. She knows no one. And then she meets Maya Hart. What happens when Maya goes away for training? "Dear Auggie, I love you." (Based off of the game "Gone Home", except without the ghosts.)

"Do you ever have that one belief? That one thing you just know in your heart is true?" Riley asks. Maya nods, "Yeah." The brunette smiles and takes Maya's hand, "Us. We are my Pluto. I know in my heart it will always be you and me." Maya smiles at the girl, "Until the day we die." "You heard them tell the story, Maya. There was a time when my father was the only one who knew he and my mother would always be together. Even when everyone else said that they wouldn't. He knew. And so do I," Riley whispers, staring out at the stars.

"Friends just sleep in another bed, and friends don't treat me like you do. Well I know that there's a limit to ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀everything, but my friends won't love me like you ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ do." It's summertime again and that means camp Ajax is opening up again. But what happens when Riley Matthews, a ray of sunshine, meets Maya Hart, a mysterious gir?
