Nevertheless, their personalities have clashed since the beginning. Until, one of them decides to change something.

She thinks she is just like her best friend Maya Hart and so copies most of what she does, although when it comes to relationships Riley begins to believe she isn't exactly like Maya. She begins to question her sexuality and this lets out a lot of feelings she never even knew she had buried. Hate, sadness, confusion, and most importantly, love. When she starts getting feelings for Farkle's little sister, Riley, she starts to feel conflicted. How had she never paid attention to the girl before? Why did it have to be her best friend's sister? Or even worse, her history teachers daughter?

"Do you ever have that one belief? That one thing you just know in your heart is true?" Riley asks. Maya nods, "Yeah." The brunette smiles and takes Maya's hand, "Us. We are my Pluto. I know in my heart it will always be you and me." Maya smiles at the girl, "Until the day we die." "You heard them tell the story, Maya. There was a time when my father was the only one who knew he and my mother would always be together. Even when everyone else said that they wouldn't. He knew. And so do I," Riley whispers, staring out at the stars.
