For many years, some ponies in Ponyville have been hiding a secret: they aren't fully ponies. Their ancestors went into hiding thousands of years ago when deemed dangerous. But now the past has come back to bite. On a mission to gain help, Apple Bloom (a hybrid herself), Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo head for the other side of Equestria in search for the Hybrid Rebellion, all while being hunted down by the AHA (Anti-Hybrid Association). There's only one definite thing in all the mess: time is on nopony's side.
