This is a story about a teenage girl from a small town in the state of New Jersey.Dealing with school, friends and boys. You have to be careful because big words travel fast in a small town (might contain curse words)

Phoebe "Pheb" Matthews isn't normal. Her father died from lung cancer, and her mother died from a fire where Pheb was one of the only survivors. She doesn't remember much of her childhood, and she is unbelieveably pale, no matter how much sun she receives. Pheb lives with her best friend Grant Reed in a lowly apartment of the big NYC as she attends New York University. Then comes along Brendon Maywood, a charming Austrailian who claims to know Phoebe's "secret"... But what if Phoebe doesn't even know her own secret? Note: I do not own this image shown on the cover.
