She was thrown there, with all the memories have been taken away. She met Newt, the only one she could trust. But then, came Minho, the one she always felt safe with. As Thomas turned up, could he really be the missing part of her past? *** I own none except for some fictional characters I made. The others belong to the lovely James Dashner. I can't move. I'm stuck in a box of some kind, sending me off somewhere. All of a sudden a bright light blinds me, making me shield my eyes. I can hear murmurs from lots of different voices, what's going on? I start to panic but before I have the chance to think somebody jumps into the box with me.

[on hiatus] For the Gladers, the routine with the Box never changed, for it always brought up weekly supplies and monthly members. But on the day a new Glader is supposed to arrive, something is different... well, more like someone. Instead of a boy, it is a girl named Emily who, like everyone else, has been brought up by the Box with no memory of herself and her past life except for her name. Her new home and life begins in the maze surrounded Glade: a civilization made up of only boys. The Glade is only WICKED's stepping stone to the craziness that is the Scorch. Luckily, Emily has the help and support of many glader friends... and possibly enemies. Who can she trust? Not only will this new life surprise her with an ill-fated love between herself and the British boy, Newt, but with puzzle piece memories, deception, loss, danger, insanity, difficult choices, and sacrifices. ((This story will contain mature language and adult themes, but nothing over the top adult. No sexual activity)) A woman suddenly wakes up finding herself in a mysterious maze. She doesn't know how she got there or why, but she's soon able to find comfort in a stranger who guides her out of the maze and leads her into an area called the Glade. She quickly realizes that she's the only female and the first female that these gladers have ever seen. Is she in danger? She's not sure. What she is sure about though is that this place is much more than a dusty old maze covered in creeping ivy. She learns that because of where she came from, the boys, gladers, are wary of her. They are just as confused by her presence as she is of theirs. Hopefully, she can make some friends while she's trapped there and maybe find something a little bit stronger than friendship.

Everyone. But she didn't want the other one's. She wanted the British Boy. One cold night, she looked up at the stars. She spotted a shooting star, racing across the sky. It felt like hours, days even that she had been stuck in the lonely black cage, ceaselessly moving upwards with constant clanking noises. It had been so long that she'd even had time to calm herself from her initial panic and was even becoming bored. She sat cross-legged on the cold metal floor and absentmindedly stared at her hands folded in her lap. Her mind raced, searching and searching for any memory that could explain where she was or how she'd gotten there. There was nothing, though. She had no answers. All she had was a name.
