That is,until one person decides to help glue those pieces back together... REWRITE OF LOSING GAME Alice is W.C.K.D's most uncooperative test subject, and in a dangerous world of mazes, a scorched planet, and a disease ravaging what remains of humanity, she's got everything to lose. Thrown from one Maze to another, finding boys she cares for like family, reuniting with the twin brother she didn't know she was missing [Thomas], and falling uncontrollably for Newt - Alice finds herself fighting with all she's got to keep them safe. All she feels is an endless dark space in the place of memory. That is, until she arrives at the Glade. An all-boy society in the centre of a bizarre, strange and terrible maze. There, at least, she is not alone in the deep hatred she feels for the Creators - the mysterious group of cruel people who placed her there. She, along with the Gladers, will risk anything to escape the horrors of the Maze, and stop at nothing to keep each other safe along the way; especially the distractingly attractive, yet seemingly hateful second-in-command, Newt. Most characters, setting, ideas and plot belong to James Dashner, the genius behind the Maze Runner series.

To have your memory wiped and your life stolen away from you is one thing. To then be thrown into a life restricted by four towering walls and surrounded by nothing but strangers is where fight or flight really kicks in. Tiegan had no choice but to find her feet in the Glade. She was the first girl to arrive and had no time to be terrified of the life the boys before her had managed to endure. Just as her arrival as the first girl had been a shock, for Tiegan to arrive alongside a boy left suspicious whispers within the walls because there had only ever been one new Glader at a time. There were so many secrets beyond the walls but it was hard to try and listen to them when life in the Glade was forced to go on like clockwork. Thomas - the boy Tiegan arrived with - can't live restricted within the walls and he does everything to fight his way out. Tiegan can't decide whether the escape that lies beyond the horrors within the maze is better than the restricted life trapped inside the walls of the Glade.

It's been almost a year since they got to the safe haven, but Thomas can't heal. He reads Newt's letter everyday, once in the morning and once in the evening. He can't help but wonder what he could have done differently. But one morning, Thomas and the others are startled to find a small surprise waiting for them on the beach. A surprise that'll push them to go back to the world they so longed to escape from.

Nora starts phase two: The Scorch Trials. After Nora escaped WICKED, she finds herself in The Scorch with the love of her life, Newt. Nora lost many friends in The Glade and has a hard time recovering from their deaths. Sometimes she even blames herself. Old habits fade away and come back, just like they did in The Glade. Of course, Logan and Minho, her best friends, and Newt, her boyfriend, help her. But they can't always protect Nora. Either she doesn't want them to, or, they go different pathways. I woke up in the maze, unlike any other glader. The beginning was hard but slowly it became better, because I had Newt. But of course life ain't perfect and shit always goes wrong, in my case sometimes I can't control my own body; no not in a gross puberty way. I mean literally, the creators sometimes control me. To make me do things I don't want to just to shuck up my situation more, why? Variables. She is a variable, and she is disposable. * Hey fukheds, read my book. To forward? Sorry, Uhm please read my book I worked really hard on it, it's about this girl Amy who is a variable so she's vastly different compared to the other gladers, a lot of shit happens and through out it newt, mihno and later on Thomas all end up falling for her, why? Is she perfect? No it's because it's a book and I'm the writer and that's what I want to happen. But read to find out who she chooses!! Spoiler she mostly chooses Newty boi cus he's my favvy Anyways thanks for reading if you do, drop and like and comment. Before you read keep in mind that this is based of the first book and first movie series maze runner, so there are mild spoilers. And if there's something you don't understand it's most likely from either the book or film you haven't seen. Go right ahead and ask what's up and I'll explain it best I can! also big thing when the book begins it's based off the first year of the glade, so newt is a runner. But I wanted him to also be second in command like he is in the future, so he is second in command as well as a runner. Hope that isn't stupid but it works with my story, btw I take things from the film and book and use them as I please so the time line isn't 100% accurate. Also (omg I talk to much) it's possible this description will change if I end up having a better idea, but for sure newt and Amy will be buddy buddy sexxy sexxy together so look forward to that. After failing to die a second time, Newt is used again by another organisation who, supposedly, has found a cure for the Flare. Driven by hope and possibly getting his memories restored, he volunteers to be the second test subject of the experiment. Of course, things are bound to go wrong at some point.

SCORCH TRIALS-DEATH CURE AU- Newt falls in love with a girl named Kaya from Group B.

"I awoke in a dark, dusty, metal box." The day that Claire arrived in the Glade, everything changed. And by everything, I mean Second In-Command's heart. All the boys were falling for Claire. Everyone. But she didn't want the other one's. She wanted the British Boy. One cold night, she looked up at the stars. She spotted a shooting star, racing across the sky. As she made a wish, she spotted a name, spelt with faint stars. Newt. Note: 1/2 based off of movie, and 1/2 based off of book

Short story about your "last" moments with newt before he is taken away by members of the Right Arm in order to try and get him to survive. You go to the safe haven with the others and pray that newt will make it there eventually.

They used to be normal girls. But things change. Some things change for the good, some for the bad. Winter and Aurora had hoped their lives were changing for the good, but things didn't go to plan...
