Ever wonder what Maz's story was? This is my take on how she grew up, how she got Luke's saber, and how her daily life is before Rey's arrival!

Since the Battle of Endor, there has been no rest for Leia Organa as she warns the New Republic government of complacency and Han is frustrated. Now they must put their personal lives on hold again to investigate an ancient coded document and the strange disappearances from the Outer Rim which Leia fears have Imperial involvement. With the untimely appearance of a childhood friend threatening to throw them all into chaos once more, can Han protect Leia and can Luke persuade her to use her Force power to save them all? (This is a fanfiction and main characters and places are owned by Disney/Lucasfilm. All original characters are owned by the author.)

When compulsive gambler Sir Benjamin Kenobi has lost his estate and all of his money playing dice, he realizes that he only has one thing left of value: his daughter Rey. In a final game, he stakes his daughter's hand in marriage, convinced that this time he will not lose. Unfortunately, however, he does lose; to the evil Lord Snoke. Unable to return home and tell his daughter that he has lost her in a game of dice, he kills himself there and then. Lord Ben Solo, who has witnessed the events, takes pity on Rey Kenobi, although they have never met. He challenges Lord Snoke to a game of dice in which the winner takes Jakku and Miss Rey. Lord Ben Solo wins and is simply pleased that he has saved someone from the nasty Snoke, he thinks no more about the event. One evening, however, Ben's friend Lord Armitage Hux insists upon them going to Jakku to take a look at his "prize". However, our story takes place shortly before the discovery of the map, on the planet of Takodana, a hideaway for villainous smugglers and criminals alike...

Being the Pirate Queen, Maz introduced her daughter to the famed smuggler Han Solo and his wife General Leia Organa. This also meant that Lana was introduced to their children Ben Solo and Jayde Solo. All three children grew up to be best friends, who all had the force. All three were sent to train with Jedi Master Luke Skywalker. But what happens when Ben turns to the dark side? How will his relationships change between his sister and his best friend? *This story mostly focuses on Ben and Lana. There will be a story that involves a relationship between Jayde and Poe. There may be Poe and Jayde moments in this story. All characters belong to Lucasfilm Ltd. and Disney. The only characters I own are Lana, Jayde, Queen Jaiella, and Seleanna*

The Slave Wars have begun and the young Jedi Council has been commissioned to mediate between the opposing sides. Against the Jedi's orders, Ben and Maz search the galaxy seeking answers for a threat they know is coming. But on what the real threat is, the Jedi cannot agree. A darkness grows, and a handful of those "empty" of the Force seem to hold the key to the galaxy's destiny. The end begins!
