When love meets fragility, control is the hardest thing to surrender. Blue has always lived on her own terms-punk, sharp-edged, and in control. She doesn't bend, doesn't break, and certainly doesn't let anyone see her weakness. Until Salena. Salena is everything Blue isn't-bright, soft, warm, and endlessly patient. She lives in color, especially pink, and sees beauty where Blue only sees shadows. Against all odds, their worlds collide, and love sparks between dominance and tenderness. But just as they begin to build something real, Blue's body betrays her. A chronic illness diagnosis shatters the illusion of control she's fought so hard to keep. Pain and fear creep in, threatening to swallow her whole-and to push Salena away. As Blue's darkness deepens, Salena is forced to decide how much she can carry, and Blue must face the terrifying truth that vulnerability might be the only way to hold on to the love she never thought she'd deserve.
