Gibbs stood there in silence for a moment. He couldn't believe the story that had unravled right in front of him. The Major Case Response Team at NCIS were down an agent because special agent Rebecca Rimmer was off sick with the flu. Her partner, special agent Timothy McGee, needed a partner until she came back. After a while team leader Leroy Jethroy Gibbs finally chose special agent Sasha Lee to be his partner for the time being. No one, however, knew how many near misses to death Tim would have.
