I stared deeper into the water at my reflection to find someone I didn't recognize.

No one would know anything if someone hadn't told them something. These aren't all my own thoughts. I'm sure that sometimes the best way to share the hope that you have is through something you've heard or learned, not something that originated from you.

This historical fiction takes place in 2011. Every visual given was most definitely observed amongst the wreckage that year.
