I'm going to try to make this story as accurate to the musical and Mormon beliefs as possible. Plot: On a hot, dry Ugandan day in district 9, Elder McKinley was sitting at his desk, reading scripture. He had always hated how on most days, when his trip to the village was over, he had nothing to do after supper than read and plan for the next day. It was boring, it reminded him of grade school. But this evening was different, this evening two new missionaries would arrive, two new interesting people he could talk to. Little does he know one of the two new missionaries was there to change his life, and to confirm every suspicion he's had about himself since the fifth grade.

At the moment, I only have one of these written, but I plan to do more if people actually read this first one. I have read a lot of fan fictions like this, so if my stories sound like other fanfictons, I'm sorry, I didn't intend on that. If you just so happen to be reading this and you don't actually know me irl and you like what I wrote, please suggest other things for me to write about. Kevin didn't want this to happen, except he wasn't sure if he'd wish for anything else. Besides, no worries, maybe not all is lost. He could go home after this, save money to go to college and get a job, then marry some girl his family welcomes with open arms. At least everyone might still be proud of him, then, and his failed mission could be all but a bittersweet memory of his young adulthood. It was all securely mapped out, which means everything will be fine, right?
