The New Order of the Stone is gone, vanished without a trace, and an eternal storm rages overhead as a plague spreads throughout the land. The remaining survivors have gathered in a trio of strongholds and the capitol they surround, taking shelter behind high walls from the infected outside. With no known cure or means to make one, darkness seems to have won. Then, when all seems lost, a lone survivor struggles out of the storm, carrying with him a spark of hope. His arrival rallies an unlikely group of heroes, and together they must venture out into the plague-ridden wastelands in search of a last, desperate chance for salvation.

No one likes it when an aggravating rumor about them circulates around town. Petra was beginning to believe that she was chosen by the universe to become society's reject as she had faced betrayal after betrayal in each of Endercon's friendship huddles. Over time, ejection from each group led to a buildup of unkind words spoken behind her back, haughty glares and worst of all, leaked posters that people actually put effort into! But just as she was about to surrender all her hope for a normal, unobtrusive life, her path collides with the Ocelots, the most adored band of winners led by the charming Lukas, who gladly accepts her into their squad. They will be her final straw: the annual building competition she'll actually get to take part in this year would prove it.
