About a year after the events at Guanyin Temple, Jin Ling and Ouyang Zizhen were sent to the cloud recesses to study. Xiao Xingchen already forgave Xue Yang in this story and he started to have feelings for Xue Yang. Xue Yang stopped killing people because he knew that Xiao Xingchen wont forgive him, exept if its vulnerable.
