Meagan Shaw is pushed into the drama of Oconomowoc Wisconsin's High School. Just moving into a three story house is harder than it looks, there's always a surprise around the next corner. Her next door neighbor, Austin Turner, acts as her personal guide around the town. Just before he tells her of his feelings, there is a murder, in the house across the street. Police say that it's just an animal. All over town there are whispers about a curse. Meagan begins to start prying around trying to find the truth. All she's doing is digging her own grave, her temporary grave.
