FREE VERSE POETRY!!! In this poetry book. I explain my struggles, my thoughts, and my emotions. A lot of these poems were written after or during something. I show and explain how I feel daily when I overthink. It's about all of the things I never let go of in life. I learned a lot from this, especially that you can't outrun these problems. You can't let go of them either, because they mean too much to let go. This poetry book was more of a journal than a book itself, because usually when I was sad or something, I would write about it. In this poetry book, you will see a lot about love, because my whole life is built around that. I thank you for those who cheered me on throughout the making of this. I thank the people who cared enough to help me through these parts of my life. I cried a lot because I was scared to even write these poems. Knowing it will be the truth, and for once, people will know me for me. Because these problems aren't just mine. They are yours too, because it is so sad that a lot of teenagers go through a lot of the same things. To those who read this, thank you for taking your time to understand me. It means a lot, tons. Sometimes I think that others shouldn't worry about my issues or problems when they have their own to worry about. This happened a lot, and some of these poems were written with my tears. I thank YOU, for making me remember that people are here for me, no matter who they are. Along with that- Enjoy! I hope that you like this, as much as I did write it. Another collection of poems from 8th-grade minds! These poems conclude our personal struggles, ups and downs, and friendships (with one another and others) throughout this year. We hope you enjoy and find special meaning for yourself in these poems. May you know that you are not alone and be helped if you are having a difficult year! Also, some of these poems are to each other (there are some that form a "mini poem series," if you will, but it's not stated if they continue each other), some are to other people, and others are just... by themselves. While some of these were inspired by someone, to someone, or about someone, all of these were important to us and have a special meaning. This book is dedicated to a teenage girl, Flora Ronald, who is a Christian and daughter of a well-known business man. She hates Islam until she goes in a university with students of different cultures and religions. The only thing she was taught was Muslims are terrorists until she meets her future best friend; "All Muslims are not terrorists but all terrorists are Muslims." Now she starts to see Muslims from a different angle. She suffers a lot, it's a steep and long road towards peace and happiness. Will she convert or give up after facing torture? Will her parents let her do it? What is the real reason behind it? Does she really like the religion or is she forced somehow? Is there someone behind this all? Soo many questions right? I have this friend, and we talked once and I said something along the lines of 'I would be at my peak if someone published a book and dedicated it to me or wrote a fanfic about me' and this friend agreed. Sadly this will not be a fanfic about them but, I asked a couple people about a poem I wrote and they said it was good, so here I am on this app writing poetry. In each chapter will be a different poem, they could rhyme or they could just be me feeling happy or sad that day and comparing my emotions to things like the sun or a song or my dog's eyes. I will try my hardest to write what i feel is best and understandable. I would like to formally dedicate this book to my good friend, Cadence Vaughn.
