Jaime Kelly, also known as "Books", is the leader of the Lower Manhattan Newsies. She loves her Newsies like they're her family. Every 8 Days she goes to see her best friend, Spot, the "King of Brooklyn". Everything seems to be going pretty normal until one day when she and her brother, Jack, start a strike against "The World". But what happens when memories of her past starts to resurface? And what happens when she makes a bet with " King Idiot" that in 8 days he could get her to say 8 letters? Note: ALL CHARACTERS MENTIONED IN THE 1992 FILM BELONG TO DISNEY.
