The story of Edward III of England and Philippa of Hainault comes to life in this original screenplay written by Taylor Leann Matthews. Young Philippa meets her soon to be King Edward III, however, what she doesn't know is that she has been pushed right into the middle of a plot to destroy King Edward II by his unfaithful wife Queen Isabella. Philippa becomes Edward III's confidant when he is quickly pushed onto the throne and must lead the country of England through political differences with France and Scotland while simotaneously dealing with a power hungry mother and her conniving lover, Roger Mortimer. Love blossoms between the young King Edward III and Queen Philippa as they make their descent into history.

A little story I've written to aid in my journey to improve my writing capabilities. This story is set in an entirely fictional world but is based loosely on Europe and specifically the anglosphere and perhaps the early medieval era. I am however Chinese and not familiar with this culture, so forgive any ignorances. This is after all, fictional and I do not mean to insult.

Sisters of The Bruce 1292-1314 offers a finely-drawn tale of Robert the Bruce's sisters and the challenges these remarkable women face Set against the wild and perilous background of Scotland in the late thirteenth century, the adventurous lives of Robert the Bruce's five sisters come to life through their own words in a series of letters. Courage and tenacity are often associated with Scotland's great hero, but few appreciate the enormous challenges experienced by these remarkable sisters. Danger looms and the younger sisters, Mathilda and Margaret, escape to Orkney with Kirsty's children, aided by Isa. As Scotland spirals into war, Robert and his family face the wrath of King Edward of England, whose vengeance wrought the brutal death of William Wallace. Kirsty is incarcerated alone in an English nunnery, whilst Mary endures years of misery within a cage hanging from the walls of Roxburgh Castle. Robert evades capture and continues the fight for unity and independence. Gradually, old wounds heal. Under his kingship, Scotland's fighting force achieves a resounding victory at the Battle of Bannockburn. Only then are the fragile, traumatised women released, through the ransoming of English nobles, to return home to rebuild their shattered lives...
