This story is about a medieval event in which siblings try to free their brother, a thief. This emotional story illustrates the connection between freedom, life and death. The reader joins the other characters from the sister's point of view in the search for happiness in life, where he encounters obstacles and difficult decisions have to be made... "Life without freedom is like a long death in the shadows."

In a population of pale, blond and graceful people, there is Nyadia, an olive skinned, brunette who is handy with a bow but has two left feet. One look at her and you could tell something was wrong. One look at her larger build and lower cheek bones and one would know, that she was different. Her mothers disappearance has always been something she thought about, and her need for adventure was looked down upon by most elves, however these two factors are what makes her so special.

Supergirl in Medieval Times, Batgirl in Ancient Japan, Bumblebee in Steampunk Victoria England, Green Lantern in the American Frontier, and Zatanna...Salem. And they have no means of getting back or reversing the spell. Now, they're forced to live in their periods of time for as long as they can before eventually meeting up with Diana of the past and set their future straight. Can they do it before they lose all hope? It's only a matter of time...
