Hills of Glory traces the steps of C company, 22nd Marines, as they struggle to maintain control over Hill 192 in central Vietnam, roughly 60 miles south of the infamous Khe Sahn Operating Base. These are the personal firsthand accounts of the men who made it back, and those who were left behind. This is their story... It all started with a plane ride and a ridiculous left turn. 20-year-old Liana Olin Underwood was finally having her dream spread out in front of her: to study in the most prestigious dance school in London. And this was all she could ask for, until destiny interfered and introduced her to a not-so-complete stranger that changed her views in life.

This MEDLEY consists of a TEMPOEM, a LIMERICK, a SENRYU, an ACROSTIC and a CINQUAIN. Because of my love for rhyme I decided to compile this collection of different forms on the same theme. I hope you will enjoy these original, unusual poems.

Ting- ting- ting A sound like a penny tapping on metal echoed from the darkness of the corridor. Ting-ting-ting Were they footsteps? The continued, growing louder. Images of a giant metal spider came into Lola's imagination. She shuddered, clutching Paul's arm even tighter. "I-I'm scared," Lola buried her face into Paul's tattered sleeve. "Just hang on a little longer. We'll make it," Paul rested his hand on her head. "Jason didn't make it, Teya's gone, Annie's missing... You can't even walk. I'm scared," tears gushed from her eyes. A screech of metal against metal made them both jump. Paul placed both his hands on either side of Lola's face and she looked straight into her eyes, keeping a firm look. "Kid, you'll make it."
