Having been forced away from the ideas of a carefree summer, second-year medical student Ellie Choi reluctantly signed up for a summer camp on the outskirts of Rosewick, where she learned to develop herself as a future medic. All the while, she had to complete bursts of volunteer work, or her participation in the camp would be invalid - frustrating, to say the least. It wasn't until the volunteers' orientation session that she allowed herself her first smile throughout the otherwise dreadful five weeks - a reasonable response, given that the whole experience seemed to make most people miserable. Under the mentorship and supervision of Dax, Ellie gradually emerged from the emotional shell she had built around herself at camp and bid farewell to summer with invaluable memories. Death lingers everywhere, Y/N is aware of that. Having to live majority of their life in a hospital, they were no stranger to the fact that death could creep up to them at any given point in time. They have already accepted their fate. That is, until they meet a sweet little girl wearing the same hospital gown as them. "My big brother Albedo is studying to be a doctor so he can help Klee and other people get better! He's the best person in the whole world!" Albedo always had a clear goal. Becoming a Doctor was his top priority, that's why he was studying so hard in Med School, setting aside every thing that wouldn't be helping him achieve his goal. He absolutely refused to have any distractions on his way to success. That is, until he meets someone talking to the very reason he was taking up Medicine for. "You must be her big brother. Albedo, right?" Maybe Y/N will try and hope to continue living. Maybe Albedo will learn the importance of taking a break. Who knows? Maybe what they all need is just one more day.

This is a story about a girl who is innocent, kind, bubbly trying to figure her way out in this world of uncertainty and aloneness. She just stepped out from. her home to move into this new city to do something bigger in life but with each and every step in life she's being challenged with new hurdles and obstacles. She has been unlucky in finding someone who'll truly understand her and not just her appearance. The one who'll appreciate the actual diviness in her eyes... will she ever find him or she'll end up alone in the unknown city.

Inspired by the writingprompt: You have the ability to travel back in time, but it takes years off your life (something like that) Brett Yang is accepted into Aceso University, the most prestigious Medschool in the country as the youngest student of his freshman class. I wrote this in 2018 , never finished it, and just now have the feeling to put it out here. If my writing evoked any sort of emotion, I encourage ppl to take their bits and pieces from it, rewrite it, or - if you could spare a few moments - absolutely destroy me in the comments with your harshest, unapologetic criticism.
