Prologue:
Olivia Carter was much like any other 22 year old girl living in a small town. She spent her days as a preschool teacher and evenings continuing her psychology degree. She had now been engaged to David Evans for nearly a year, but to say she feared they would never make it to the altar was an understatement. David grew to be a person Olivia not only hardly recognized, but found herself to hardly still be in love with. This definitely wasn't how she imagined her engagement bliss to feel. This bliss felt more like becoming a single mother. Olivia was supporting him almost entirely financially and doing everything for him while benefiting essentially nothing from the relationship.
Her threats of breaking their engagement seemed to fall on deaf ears and an uncaring heart, but what more could she do? She loathed the idea of actually breaking their engagement, she was too determined to have the perfect story book relationship to allow anyone the satisfaction of watching her walk away from an upcoming wedding. Still, she wanted more. She needed more and after an introduction to Brandon Michaels she would have to decide just how far she was willing to go to obtain that.
