Struggling to fit into a new country, Edith receives an unexpected opportunity when her mother is offered a scholarship for her to attend a prestigious vocational academy. Believing it could secure Edith's future, she accepts, unaware the school is actually V.I.L.E. Academy. Years pass as Edith is molded into one of V.I.L.E.'s most promising operatives, believing the organization is the closest thing she has to a family. Everything changes the day she chooses to betray them. Returning home, Edith discovers her house engulfed in flames. Her family is gone. The people responsible... ...were V.I.L.E. In that moment, grief, rage, and betrayal awaken the power that had slept inside her her entire life. The jaguar finally emerges. With nowhere else to turn, Edith finds an unlikely family beside Carmen Sandiego and Team Red. Together they search for answers while Edith struggles to control the massive beast living within her. Desperate for help, Player devises a plan to visit Edith's three eccentric aunts-ordinary women who happen to be completely blind. Despite their lack of sight, they understand the jaguar better than anyone. Through a series of unusual trials, they teach Edith a terrifying truth: The jaguar has never been her enemy. It exists only to protect her. When Edith feels safe, her human mind remains in control. But if she stays transformed for too long without an emotional anchor, the Mega Jaguar will consume her... and Edith may never become human again.
