Instead of dying at the end of MMZ4. Zero is instead warped to the Danganronpa universe. Unable to contact Ciel and the Resistance, he stares at the apocalypes ocurring around him. "Please help me, please help me, please help me..." He hears a girl muttering. He glances around and finds monochrome bears surrounding his current location. 'Mavericks...' He thinks to himself as he raises his Z-Saber.

The battle against Master Albert's Game of Destiny is finally over. With destiny broken and humanity's future restored, Vent and Ashe should have returned home as heroes. Instead, a catastrophic overload from Ouroboros tears open a dimensional rift, hurling them into a completely different world known as Remnant. A world where monstrous creatures called Grimm roam the wilderness. A world where Hunters and Huntresses wield extraordinary weapons and powers known as Aura and Semblances. A world standing on the edge of destruction. Fortunately, Vent and Ashe did not arrive alone. Deep within the M.E.G.A. System, Model Z activates an ancient emergency protocol, awakening the legendary Four Guardians of Neo Arcadia-Harpuia, Leviathan, Fefnir, and Phantom. No longer dormant fragments, the Guardians are fully conscious once again and stand beside the legendary heroes X and Zero. Armed with powers beyond anything Remnant has ever seen: Vent can still Mega Merge with Model X. He can perform the legendary Double Mega Merge with Model X and Model Z. He can now access the powers of all Four Guardians through Models H, L, F, and P. The legacy of X, Zero, and Neo Arcadia lives through him. Meanwhile: Ashe retains every copy ability she acquired during her journey. Every Pseudoroid transformation remains stored within Model A. She possesses an arsenal of powers capable of adapting to nearly any opponent or situation. As mysterious new enemies emerge and ancient Grimm begin evolving in impossible ways, Vent and Ashe find themselves caught between Remnant's struggles and secrets connected to their own world. Alongside Team RWBY, Team JNPR, Beacon Academy, and the heroes of Remnant, the two Biometal warriors must uncover the truth behind the dimensional disturbance before both worlds are consumed. Because somewhere beyond reality... Something else crossed over with them. And it has begun watching.

"BE THE TRUE HERO..." The series begins as Ciel and a small group of resistance soldiers (Along with Stella, Lincoln, Clyde, Liam, Rusty and Zach.) being hunted by Pantheons and Golems. Some of the resistance soldiers fall behind, but they can't stop their advance. Pursued, Ciel reaches a huge door. After that, soldiers blow up the door, and Ciel, Stella and Milan enter the room, with Zero Drift's lifeless body in the middle of room, inactive for 100 years. Milan tries to touch it, but he is knocked back by energy shield that protects Zero Drift. While they try to figure out how to bypass the shield, Pantheons appear at the door. Milan orders Ciel and Stella to run, and dies, being hit by one of the Pantheons. Ciel and Stella thinks while Pantheons come closer and closer. They used a Cyber-elf prototype to bring Zero Drift back to life. He helps Ciel and Stella, and learns that X (although actually a copy) is the one responsible for innocent Reploids being retired. Fairy Leviathan figured it had been awhile since the last time she saw the Mother Elf. To visit the Mother Elf, however, Leviathan had to go on shore- a feat she doesn't normally partake on an act of free will due to the severe lack of water. Little does Leviathan know that the Mother Elf has been watching the other female Guardian and knowing full well of her secret pastime; water ballet. The Mother Elf waits in her chamber for Leviathan's arrival so she can finally see the female Guardian dance for her in person, although a transition from water to land would be quite a challenge for Leviathan, the Mother Elf is sure that she will be able to pull it off.
