After waking up in an unfamiliar land that is colored green, T.K.O found himself in a reincarnated body with new powers that are in place of his old powers, and fought against many of the monsters called ghosts in the land after he found injured humans who hoped for his long return. After a fight with a strong ghost with the help of the hero team P.O.I.N.T, T.K.O returned to his old world and found that 20-30 years have passed and everyone live their new lives, including K.O, who became the hero he dreamed of being, married to Dendy, had a family with her, and T.K.O was taken in by K.O as part of his family. Now as part of his former self's family as he considers K.O as a brother, T.K.O has to fight against ghosts and other villains that plan evil plans on the world, as well as live life as a goth teenager who possesses ghost powers as a hybrid between ghost and human.

In this timeline, after the events of Gunvolt 3. Gunvolt reappears after his disappearance but seems to be in another world, where the legendary reploid exist which takes place in Mega Man Zero 3.

The two maverick hunters find out there is a Maverick outbreak going on in the city, there they meet a new and unlikely ally.

After the events of the Plaza Tournament, many of the people in K.O's life lived their best lives, including K.O himself. However, in a parallel dimension to K.O's world which was altered by the causes of the Tournament's aftermath, a resistance of heroes were in a war with a neutral civilian utopia kingdom known as Aether Garden, who sees any hero in the world as threats as they could be wrongly accused of becoming villains from the discovery of Laserblast a villain. During the war, the resistance found a resurrected body of T.K.O from after he and K.O became one in an abandoned laboratory, where they awakened him from a deep hibernation, and he joined the resistance to help them in their path for survival and for peace. Follow T.K.O in his resurrected body as he fights against Aether Garden as they are being sent by their leader and former great hero, the alternate dimension version of K.O, Katan, who has somehow become corrupted with an strange power that was caused by the aftermath of the Plaza Tournament.

Some of the resistance soldiers fall behind, but they can't stop their advance. Pursued, Ciel reaches a huge door. After that, soldiers blow up the door, and Ciel, Stella and Milan enter the room, with Zero Drift's lifeless body in the middle of room, inactive for 100 years. Milan tries to touch it, but he is knocked back by energy shield that protects Zero Drift. While they try to figure out how to bypass the shield, Pantheons appear at the door. Milan orders Ciel and Stella to run, and dies, being hit by one of the Pantheons. Ciel and Stella thinks while Pantheons come closer and closer. They used a Cyber-elf prototype to bring Zero Drift back to life. He helps Ciel and Stella, and learns that X (although actually a copy) is the one responsible for innocent Reploids being retired.
