Megaop Stories

After their return from the Allspark, Optimus's concern that he would cause a greater divide between the Autobots and Decepticons in the new planet resulted in him leaving Cybertron. Megatron, finding no greater purpose than bullying his weakened nemesis, goes with him, leaving the planet in the hands of the new governments led by Bumblebee and Starscream. They've been gone for a long time, their whereabouts entirely unknown. Meanwhile, their old home has gathered more and more returning cybertronians. The political atmosphere has shifted. Soundwave is back from the shadowzone per Megatron's last request. The slavers Optimus and Megatron encountered have only grown more powerful. A new and dangerous Autobot returns from the depths of space, initiating a disaster that forces Optimus and Megatron to return after years of no means of communication with their homeworld. Primus bestows the matrix of leadership to a new Prime.

Megatron is invited to a Cybertronian Reunion mixed with both Decepticons and Autobots, only to soon find out his feelings for Optimus is more than what he thinks.

Megatron, the war lord and leader of the Decepticons. Optimus Prime, the rebel and leader of the Autobots. They were enemies for aeons, they were suffering through a lot to do what they believed was right, even though it slowly became warped in a way. The one thing that sets things together, that creates the very happiness that both would feel in aeons was rather unexpected. Three sparklings all of varying ages and sizes looked very identical to Megatron and Optimus when they suddenly appeared. Such an odd way of bringing together the two nobody thought would ever come together...perhaps Primus permitted such a thing to happen, so that everything would change.

Enslaved, emboldened, and now empowered, Megatronus was a perfect example of what could result from a corrupt system going unchecked. He wanted to challenge the High Council's authority, but he couldn't do it alone. So, he teams up with an archivist by the name of Orion Pax to take down the High Council, but finds that the odds are stacked against him, as they always have been. Sentinel Prime is portraying Megatronus as a cold-blooded killer in order to turn Cybertron against him. And since he won't be leading the bloodthirsty mob who wants nothing but chaos, someone else will step up to the plate.

a Combination of my Two Fanfics "I Hate You for what you did but I miss you like a little kid" and"But the old you died and I still Loved You. basically puts the whole story in order.

He gets in contact with the Autobot's leader, his former friend turned enemy/rival Optimus Prime and tells him that he wants to join the Autobots, to which Optimus is conflicted as he doesn't trust Megatron.
